More and more and more and more condos going up on Queen Street West. This is across from the Gladstone Hotel which has a lot of good stuff on display for the Contact 2008 photography festival. It’s worth an afternoon on its own: I can only look at so much art in one go before I get saturated, and I got saturated.

Is that the old Neilson’s chocolate factory. I always loved the smell of the neigbourhood.
The chocolate factory I know was up north of the top end of Sorauren, but maybe there were others. I forget what this was, my stomping grounds were centred on the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern and it’s foreign territory to me. I don’t often get west of Portland since there isn’t much out there I don’t pass 5 of on the way, and the Queen West hipster scene annoys me now more than ever.
haha, this is the foot my street. It’s the Aristocrat Lighting building, about to disappear behind and under a crowd of condo towers. (for the hipster clubkids).
Great shooting.
